Elocution and Accent Softening
Our success is in no small part influenced by how we are perceived by others, and for some people a regional or foreign accent can be (or can feel like) a barrier - particularly when public speaking. If you would like to soften an accent or learn to speak without a discernible dialect then I can help.

What is known as “received pronunciation” is defined in the OED as “the standard accent of English as spoken in the South of England” and is a straightforward accent with specific accents and sounds. This accent can be taught, and when practised sufficiently, adopted as a default speaking style.

In addition, by consultation, I can undertake further work with clients on extensive and thorough use of standard English – which encompasses grammar, vocabulary, and spelling.
